Syntropic CoreLab Ultrasound Training Course - 3/2/19

Syntropic CoreLab provides comprehensive, non-invasive vascular diagnostic education fortechnologists. This course will improve vascular sonographers’ existing scanning skills, leading toconsistent, high-quality image acquisition. Our faculty of physicians and experienced sonographers lead a variety of courses to cover all the major vascular beds. Courses will be comprised of both didactics & hands-on training. Trainees will get an opportunity to better understand the nuances of appropriate scanning techniques during live, volunteer-patient scanning. Training will include one day at our state-of-the-art medical education facility in Columbus.

1. Use correct abdominal venous nominclature.
2. Use correct lower extremity venous nominclature.
3. Identify abdominal venous anatomy on duplex ultrasound.
4. Identify lower extremity venous anatomy on duplex ultrasound.
5. Identify normal abdominal venous physiology patterns.
6. Identify abnormal abdominal venous physiology patterns.
7. Identify normal lower extremity venous physiology patterns.
8. Identify abnormal lower extremity venous physiology patterns.
9. Identify common and uncommon pathology of the abdominal venous system.
10. Identify common and uncommon pathology of the lower extremity venous system.
