This activity provides a step-by-step process for inserting an internal jugular central line and using an entrustment method for interacting with the patient and care team.


Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the indications/contraindications for internal jugular central line.
  2. Explain the steps necessary to safely perform the procedure.
