2023 Symposium on Multidisciplinary Care of Patients with ALS

This course will provide attendees with an improved awareness of the considerations required for best management of patients with ALS and their caregivers. A review of the general disease features and progression will be provided, as well as an update on strategies for symptom management and current medication/respiratory support options. Attendees will be educated on resources and equipment specific to this population, so that all professionals interacting with the patient and caregiver have awareness of the unique considerations and collaboration required for care of this clientele.

$50 for in-person or virtual attendees.  Please make sure to select the appropriate ticket type at time of registration.  In-person registration deadline is 9/28/23.  Be aware that virtual attendees will receive 6.75 CEU rather than 7 CEU due to the hands-on demonstration time the live attendees will have.  Attendance will be monitored electronically for virtual attendees in order for full credit to be received.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: OhioHealth reserves the right to cancel or delay this course due to any unforeseen circumstances.  In the event this meeting would have to be canceled, OhioHealth will refund your registration fee.  We are not responsible for any travel, hotel, or other costs incurred.  If a participant cancels, refund of conference fee minus a 25% administrative charge will be made if written notice of cancellation is received no later than seven days prior to course.  No refunds will be granted after seven days prior to course unless in the case of documented illness.
