This activity will provide a systematic approach in recognizing EKG changes associated with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarctions.  Treatment options will also be discussed.  



Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the pathophysiology that occurs during a Myocardial Infarction.
  2. Identify 6 types of ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarctions.
  3. Discuss appropriate treatments for a patient who is experiencing a myocardial infarction.
