The meeting promotes leadership, research, use of evidence-based practices, and incorporates competencies of Patient Care, Medical Knowledge, Practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and systems-based practice into learning.



Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify case scenarios that are uncommon to enhance the knowledge of medical providers to improve the care provided.
  2. Identify adverse outcomes to modify behavior and judgement based on previous experiences and prevent repetition of errors leading to complications.
  3. Discuss case scenarios in a safe, non-punitive environment to allow for transparent conversations.
