Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize the current scope of COVID-19 infection in Central Ohio, including the state of diagnostic testing, and prevention.
  2. Describe current role of medical therapy for management of primary infection and common cardiovascular complications, including CHF, arrhythmias and myocarditis.
  3. Identify the role, and limitations, of advanced hemodynamics support, including ECMO, in patients with advanced COVID-19 infection.
  4. Describe the current status of telemedicine for virtual office visits for cardiovascular patients, to minimize patient and staff exposure, and maintain clinical cardiovascular care.
