The Quality Education Retreat is designed to teach and inform associates about the latest updates in our QAPS visions and strategy, the Performance close process, Teamwork in the workplace, a foundational understanding of the process improvement principles and how they can advance quality and safety outcomes.



ACCME Objectives
  1. Provide standardized professional development across all OhioHealth campuses with informative topics that align with organizational goals.
  2. Identify the current work and updates surrounding the Quality, Accreditation and Patient Safety vision and priorities.
  3. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Performance Close process, including the key topics discussed, how to interpret the data and graphs presented, and how performance results inform operational decision-making.
  4. Demonstrate a foundational understanding of process improvement principles and tools, and how they can be applies to identify opportunities, improve processes, and advance quality and safety outcomes.
  5. Explore the role of teamwork, communication, trust and shared accountability in achieving high performance, and identify ways these principles can be applied in the workplace.
