In the spirit of National Osteopathic Medicine Week, OhioHealth Medical Education will offer a presentation on advocacy in a lunch/learn format. The Osteopathic profession has faced a myriad of challenges throughout its historic existence in medicine to gain notoriety and acceptance. Despite these challenges, the tireless advocacy/work of Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine of the past has led to a thriving and growing profession today. To promote success for the future generations, this event will review the importance of Ostoeopathic advocacy, its benefits, some examples, and methods for achieving it.
