OhioHealth 2026 Advanced Practice Provider Conference

This live in-person conference is designed for advanced practice providers, nurse anesthetist students, PA students, physicians, and pharmacists. The program will address a broad range of clinically relevant topics focused on the evaluation and management of common acute and chronic medical conditions encountered in practice. Content will include updates in infectious disease management, cardiovascular and endocrine conditions, emergency and perioperative care, cancer screening and treatment considerations, dermatology and wound care issues, substance use disorders, and post-critical care recovery. The activity will also highlight patient-centered care approaches, including the impact of social determinants of health and behavioral health considerations on clinical outcomes. The conference will be located at the Ohio University campus in Dublin, Ohio.

1. Apply evidence-based approaches to the evaluation and management of common acute and chronic medical conditions encountered in clinical practice.
2. Incorporate current clinical guidelines and best practices to support effective treatment decisions, patient safety, and quality of care.
3. Recognize patient-centered and system-level factors that influence health outcomes, including behavioral health, substance use, and social determinants of health.
