The Quality Education Retreat is designed to teach and inform associates about the practical applications of problem statement, process improvement and the coaching kata, opportunities for professional development, navigating TEAMs enhancement and the best approach for creating SBARs.

Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Provide standardized professional development across all OhioHealth campuses with informative topics that align with organizational goals.
  2. Practice through small group participation about the practical applications of problem statements, the kata and identify methods for being an effective coach to others.
  3. Identify various opportunities of professional development and growth through education on resume building, goals setting and current professional pathways.
  4. Navigate TEAMS and learn the latest enhancements offered to associates.
  5. Discuss how to create and utilize SBARS effectively and efficiently through practical applications.
  6. Practice self-care through mindfulness practice, art therapy and other resilience techniques.
