This 2-day course will be a time to connect with Grant Family Medicine educators to improve your clinical decision making and your patient care in a wide range of family medicine topics ranging from adolescent mental health to newer diabetic medications to common sports injuries.


ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe the role that social media plays on the mental health of adolescents.
  2. Summarize prescribing guidelines and what side effects to consider for SGLT2s and GLP1s with DM.
  3. Explain obesity medications and when metabolic surgery is indicated when counseling patients.
  4. Identify which cardiac imaging test is ideal in the evaluation of acute coronary syndrome.
  5. Discuss the newer treatments indicated in heart failure management and when consultation is needed.
