Hear from oncology experts to gain valuable knowledge of gynecologic and breast cancers as it relates to genetics, screening guidelines as well as new advances in treatment, surgery and patient management. Evidence-based guidelines are provided to ensure that participants return to their practices with the most up-to-date information.


Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Screen patients effectively for the most common hereditary syndromes associated with gynecologic and breast malignancies
  2. Identify when to refer patients to genetic counselors and to subspecialists for genetic testing and preventative and risk reducing management for breast and gynecologic cancers.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to use updated ASCCP guidelines to effectively screen patients for cervical cancer and lower genital tract dysplasia
  4. Recognize normal and abnormal gynecologic bleeding, and form a plan for diagnostic evaluation
  5. Identify screening guidelines in average and high risk patients.
  6. Identify updates in breast surgery and oncoplastic surgery.
