Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply correct coding guidelines as set forth by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare Administrative Contractor (CGS), American Medical Association (AMA), current procedural terminology (CPT®) and the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision (ICD-10).
  2. Improve patient outcomes through appropriate coding documentation.
