This WE LEAD BRG sponsored series explores the root causes of racially-based health outcomes disparities and how those are manifesting in the communities we serve; creates a shared understanding of how we as a health system might address those; and sparks conversation and dialog on how to improve the health of those we serve through our individual roles. 


Objectives

After completion of this activity, participants will be able to:


  1. Describe how racism is a public health crisis.
  2. Explain how health care providers can help to achieve health equity.
