SARNCO - Masculinity

This course challenges individuals to explore their sense of masculinity and what has influenced their idea of what it means to be a man. The training will also look at behaviors and characteristics which are both healthy and unhealthy for men, and can determine how we respect ourselves and others. Masculinity is a socially constructed concept, meaning that it is not innate or genetic, and will vary from man to man. Therefore, men have a choice in the behaviors and actions they engage in, and a choice in how they treat other people. Consequently men have the choice to engage other persons with compassion, respect and kindness.
