This two-day conference for physicians, nurses, EMS and ancillary staff who care for the traumatically injured patient and covers current evidence-based practice in the care of specific trauma mechanisms of injury (MOI) and innovative technology that are most commonly seen at OhioHealth's three American College of Surgeons accredited trauma centers. These MOI include falls, motor vehicle crashes and assaults for both Grant and Riverside and falls, motor vehicle crashes and motorcycle crashes for Mansfield.


ACCME Objectives
  1. Explain strategies that trauma centers can utilize to reduce recidivism in their communities.
  2. Describe the assessment of the airway post cricothyrotomy in the field.
